This allows the assertions to be disabled in release builds, so that the code is faster and smaller, at the expense of not performing the checks. Assertions can be re-enabled in release builds with the debug-assertions flag in Cargo.toml, as the top-level Cargo.toml file does.
This crate provides a straightforward way to create a
Cretonne IL function and fill it with
instructions translated from another language. It contains an SSA construction
module that provides convenient methods for translating non-SSA variables into
SSA Cretonne IL values via use_var and def_var calls.
